Functieomschrijving HR Manager
The HR Manager is a member of the local MT and will manage the HR department in Zutphen and the daily operations of the HR department in Zutphen (including payroll administration): recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, employee development. This role requires a combination of strategic and operational HR & management skills to support the organization's goals.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:
- Implement & execute HR policies and procedures of the group in local organization.
- Collaborate with local management and develop HR strategies to support the objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on HR implications of business decisions and changes.
Talent Management:
- Develop and implement talent management tools, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal system to evaluate employee performance.
- Work with managers to develop performance improvement plans and provide coaching as needed.
Employee Relations:
- Address and resolve complex employee issues and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations strategies and conflict resolution.
Organizational Development:
- Drive development initiatives, including culture change, team development, and leadership coaching.
- Implement change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.
HR Policy and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, update and communicate HR policies and procedures in line with group policy, CLA and Dutch legislation.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Ensure proper and timely payroll processing
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews and benefits enrollment.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare and present regular HR reports and metrics to senior management.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the local HR team (incl payroll administrator), providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing local HR team.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s degree in HR preferred.
Experience:
- 5-7+ years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role and international environment.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
Skills:
- Strong business acumen and understanding of various business functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in HR data analytics and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Gross salary based on your experience and qualities.
- Contract for 1 year, if performance is good & business economic circumstances permit prolongation for indefinite period.
- Management Bonus System: target bonus 30%.
- 27 holidays and 13 ADV-days per calendar year.
